Crowdfunding: A Masterclass

Updated: Aug 12, 2018

11am, 28 October

The Arnolfini, £8 (£6 Concession)

Crowdfunding is changing the shape of the publishing industry, shifting the balance of power from publisher to reader, but what’s it like to crowdfund a novel? And what’s it like to read one? Seven authors – all published by Unbound – share their experiences and their books. Expect anecdotes, readings, dramatised excerpts and a lively Q&A.

The authors include: Lulu Allison (Twice the Speed of Dark), Stephanie Bretherton (Bone Lines), Stevyn Colgan (author of eight books and a popular speaker at TED, Latitude, the Hay Festival of Literature and the Edinburgh Fringe), James Ellis (The Wrong Story and An Other’s Look), Mary Monro (Stranger in My Heart), Anita Mir (Inside Cities) and Robert Woodshaw (The Iron Bird).

The event will finish at 12:45pm.

Address: The Arnolfini, 16 Narrow Quay, Bristol, BS1 4QA
